THE SHADOW HUNT

The Shadow Hunt
Flying across the landscapes
High above these two iconic birds
From the past to the future
From left to right without
Looking back whence they came
And where they’re going nobody knows
There’s no haste for thousands of years they ha
Flown their route across landscapes
Seeing and absorbing all down below
What’s happening and happened and will happen
For their flights have made them clairvoyant
They see more than the present they pass over
The past is with them on their way across
Here are desolate landscapes
And people fleeing
Here are wars and terrors and screams
And here the shadow hunt of hope
Holds them up
Floating above lands and landscapers
Flying and flying on reflection
The shadow hunt above us in a bird’s eye view

SKYGGEJAGTEN

De flyver henover landskabet
højt oppe de to ikoniske fugle
for deres rejse gør dem synske
de ser mere end det nu de passerer
de har fortiden med på vej henover
her er øde landskaber
og mennesker på flugt
her er krige og rædsler og skrig
og her er skyggejagten på håbet
drivkraften der holder dem oppe
svævende over lande og landskaber
flyver og flyver de efter besindelsen
skyggejagten over os i fugleperspektiv
